Burlington Celebrates World Environment Day
On Saturday, June 5th, celebrate World Environment Day, a FREE, fun filled day at Burlington City Hall (426 Brant Street) with activities, displays and presentations between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., rain or shine. Come for part of the day or the whole day.

Visit the Burlington Hydro Conservation Event Staff to learn more about energy conservation and the different ways you can save. Sign up for the Power Pledge and win a prize!

Other Activities available:

- Make an eco pledge button with BurlingtonGreen
- Plant some native seeds with the Burlington Sustainable Development Committee
- Ride your bike and have it checked out by a professional technician. Then park your bike free of charge in the parking garage at 414 Locust Street.

Green fleet vehicles will be showcased in the councillors' parking lot on Elgin Street including Burlington Hydro’s new 100 per cent electric vehicle.

Many BurlingtonTransit buses stop at the downtown terminal including routes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10. In addition two Hamilton Street Railway and Oakville Transit buses stop at the downtown terminal.
